Feb 22nd

Today was a fairly steady day for our boys. Not much has changed since yesterday, which we are thankful for.

Colton seems extra exhausted with everything going on. His little body has been through a lot. Several of his medications have been adjusted, so he’s learning new ways to breathe with less support. We truly think he just needs some good, deep rest to adjust and grow stronger.

Declan spent most of the day resting. The surgeon stopped in to take a look and didn’t have much to say and around here, that’s always a good sign. Quiet can be good. (Can’t say the Q word in the room/NICU)

Both boys gave Dad the biggest puppy eyes when he left to head back home. They’re definitely going to miss him this week. We already do….

Thank you for continuing to pray for rest, strength, and steady progress for both of our sweet boys. The sure do need it, But most importantly we sure do feel it. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
