Late post.

Kylie went home for the afternoon and night. Walking out while the monitors were ringing was not easy at all… but home was needed. The boys had the best nurses, people who love them and people we trust, and they’ll have wonderful ones again today. Gives us peace.

Both boys had calm days.

Declan got more blood and a new IV. He is absolutely showing his personality. He is feisty. If his diaper is wet or he wants to be moved, he will let us know. That boy can turn his entire body RED when he’s mad. He gets so angry. He is the boss… and he is going to win.

Colton is feeling better. He also received more blood and is eating more and more. Grow, buddy, grow! He did get a small burn on his arm from an IV, but he’s taking it like a champ; already healing. His other wrist is swollen and we’re working to figure out why, but it doesn’t seem to bother him right now. It’s little man’s turn to show how powerful and strong he is.

These boys amaze us every single day, how strong they are, how determined they are. Hoping to have another calm day, while we celebrate them and shower them with love from afar. We are finally able to host our baby shower today. 💙💙
