Grandpa update 2…

Another Grandpa update…. Earlier Wednesday evening, Grandpa was discharged from the hospital and was doing well. Later in the night, he had some bleeding from his surgery site, and thankfully they decided to go to the ER just to be safe. Shortly after arriving, there was additional swelling, and the doctors made the decision to bring him back into the OR to drain a hematoma.

Right now, everything is looking good. The doctor is feeling very positive, but they are going to keep him under close supervision until Saturday. We are asking for continued prayers for healing and peace because our family truly does not need any additional stress during this already overwhelming season.

We also want to give a huge thank you and God bless My Aunt for acting quickly and getting him to the ER when she did. We will forever be grateful for her quick thinking and love. Colton & Declan need their Grandpa.

A quick little update on the boys…

Colton has become completely obsessed with his paci lately and has been extra giggly and playful, which has brought so much joy to our days.

Declan also had some additional bleeding today, but thankfully as soon as the surgery team came up to assess him, the bleeding stopped on its own and no intervention was needed. Thank God. Him and Grandpa apparently decided to play the same game today, and Mom would really appreciate if neither of them ever played it again.

Overall, please continue to keep our family in your prayers. I know we keep asking for them, but right now faith is the only thing carrying us through. I’m not sure how much more this mama and daughter heart can take, but I’m trusting that somehow God will continue to carry us through this storm.
