March 16th - procedure day

What a day!!!!!! (Understatement….)

Both boys are recovering. They wouldn’t be a Lehr boy without a story… and wow, do they each have their own. We’ll share more in future updates when we can articulate all that happened.

One thing we can say, at this hospital, they don’t play around. The level of care, urgency, and attention they’ve received today has been incredible, and we are so grateful for every single person who helped get our boys through their surgeries. There had to be at least 50 people in and out of the rooms.

Right now, the focus is on letting them rest, stabilize, and adjust; especially as their bodies settle into their new blood pressures after surgery. It’s going to take a little time for everything to level out, between oxygen and strength.

We will plan to give a more detailed update in the next 24–48 hours once things calm down and we have a clearer picture. These next few days are expected to be rocky.

Thank you all for the prayers, love, and support today. We felt every bit of it and truly believe it carried our boys through. ❤️🙏 Keep them coming as we have a long road a head of us.
