The boys are doing well… not much to update. Which is a good but scary feeling. Hope we can have many more days like this. 🙏🙏

Declan gets a little break, no platelets today! He will most likely need them again tomorrow, but we are so thankful he gets a rest day. We think his wound is getting smaller… or maybe he’s just getting bigger (which we love to see). He still needs a few more weeks to keep growing and growing.

We are still unsure about his liver since it hasn’t really had to fully work yet. There are also a few other things we’re watching in his tiny body because so much is connected to the gut. Our hope is that once his gut is fully healed, many of those other concerns will begin to fall into place for him. One step at a time.

Colton finally seems to be feeling a bit better, fewer alarms today, which feels huge. Everyone has been watching the bump on his wrist closely. They hadn’t told me much yet, but they did an ultrasound… and thank goodness it’s just fluid. We’re still keeping a close eye on it. It does look smaller, just not as quickly as we’d like. Surgery will be by Tuesday 🤞

And can we just say… these boys are getting so big. Their ears are bigger. Their faces are changing. It’s wild watching them grow right before our eyes 🥰
